Book Review "Nayikara nama shravani"

Again picking pen after a long days for reviewing an odia novel "Nayikara Nama Shravani" by Bivuti Pattanaik. The book ushers you from the life of a slum Of older Cuttak city. Sravani a girl who came into world before the marriage of her mother. Shravani's mother belonged to an elite family of old Calcutta. her father rejected her as Shravani arrived to this world before his marriage. Then shravani's mother moves to Cuttack with a servant named Sania and starts living with him in a slum. Sania was arrested by the local cops for stealing a bicycle then he escaped from the jail and never returned to their family. Here hunger starts captivating their life. A new character enters their life. A shopkeeper named Nabaghana starts helping their family and he took the charge to teach Shravani. Her mother couldnot know when  mandakani deposited her body near Nabaghana.Nabaghana started loving mandakani leaving her own family in dismissal. when mamta came to know about his family she started ignoring him. In despair Nabaghana destroyed his life by drinking alcohol and ultimately died. For surviving Mamta worked as a servant in a doctor's residence.
In search of Sania, Police detains Mandakani and the sub-inspector tried to play with her body. in fear she escaped from the jail and died in an accident.
After her death The doctor took the charge of Shravani and gave her education.Doctor Choudhary a person who always ran for money wanted to use Shravani for the success of her business. Shravani again had to suffer because of the physical relationship with a guy named Uday.
The plot moves on with some new characters as Miss.John, doctor Choudhary's wife Mamta, some hospital patients etc.
in the whole plot author has always tried to put a neutral view about every characters in the novel.
Asking many questions about the greed, desire of man. Tried to find is  a man wants only the physique of a girl. A philosophical book with the story of a  lone girl. As you go on turning the pages of life of different characters of the book it will put so many questions about your life.
there is no end of so many characters .It depends upon the reader how they will conclude the characters.
A book for everyone. If you love literature then it's a book with 4 out of 5 from my side.

Unfaithfully yours
An Idiot........
